The Black Student Leadership Council will be honoring the graduates of Spring and Summer  2011 as well as awarding two students with the Leadership and Community Involvement Awards.

The Community Involvement Award is rewarded to a student who has best served the African American/Black community of San Antonio and/or UTSA as a leader of an organization or event.  Also, the Community Involvement Award recognizes the student who best maintains a Good Academic Standing while being active in community service projects.  Finally, the Community Involvement Award recognizes the student who best exemplifies a positive character and encouraging attitude.

In addition, the Leadership Award is also rewarded to a student who best serves UTSA as a leader of an African American/Black organization or event. Also, the Leadership Award is for the student who best maintains a Good Academic Standing while being active in a student organizations and/or event. Finally, the Leadership Award recognizes the student who best exemplifies a positive character and encouraging attitude.






To nominate yourself or a UTSA student for either award, please complete the application and return it to the ICE office.
